Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food in a timely, recipe-compliant way. You will supervise production, enforce policies, and manage safety and cleanliness of the kitchen to ensure a superior guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of guests
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient and timely food item ticket times
• Managing Back of House employees including performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Assisting with development of key employees, including training and feedback
• Conducting Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety in the kitchen
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
• Directing work for Back of House staff, including scheduling and task assignment
• Training Back of House employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
