Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food according to established recipes and procedures.

You will supervise BOH staff, enforce safety and cleanliness, manage inventory and costs, monitor line performance, and help develop key employees in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times
• Managing Back of House employees including performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Assisting with development of key employees and providing daily feedback during one-on-ones
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and kitchen safety
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Managing food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Directing work for Back of House staff, setting hours, schedules, and task assignments
• Training Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring Back of House staff
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
