Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, and preparing food per recipes and procedures. You will lead staff, ensure safety and cleanliness, and drive efficiency and cost control in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising food production and ensuring recipe adherence.
• Ability to manage Back of House staff performance and coaching.
• Knowledge of inventory, food safety, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures.
• In conjunction with management, enforcing compliance with employment policies and ensuring cleanliness and guest safety.
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient and timely food item service.
• Managing Back of House staff performance, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
• Providing daily feedback to key staff during one-on-one sessions to develop capability.
• Conducting Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory and safety oversight.
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
• Ensuring safe food handling procedures are followed.
• Managing food costs, waste tracking, and kitchen labor costs.
• Scheduling Back of House hours and tasks; training on equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Participating in hiring decisions for Back of House staff.
