Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food in a timely manner, according to established recipes and procedures.

If you have a passion for made from scratch food, you will lead a team, manage costs, schedules, and ensure safety and high standards while delivering Legendary Food and Legendary Service.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in accordance with recipes and procedures
• Enforcing employment policies, maintaining restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient kitchen ticket times
• Managing Back of House staff performance including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Developing key employees through daily feedback during One-on-One sessions
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items
• Managing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Directing work schedules and task assignment for Back of House
• Training Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Reviewing applications and hiring or recommending hires
• Creating a safe, fun, clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
