Job summary

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP seeks a Technology Trainer to design and deliver training for attorneys and legal staff, supporting firmwide software rollouts and creating practical learning materials. Qualifications

• 3+ years in technology training, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot) and common legal applications.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
• ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) or similar framework.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical, time-constrained attorney audiences.
• Proficient with e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver technology training programs for attorneys and legal support staff, including instructor-led and self-paced content.
• Support firmwide rollouts of new legal technology platforms (e.g., document management, e-billing, AI tools).
• Create job aids, quick reference guides, videos, and other learning materials.
• Partner with IS, Knowledge Management, and practice groups to identify training needs and close skill gaps.
• Track training attendance, completion, and effectiveness; report metrics to leadership.
• Provide floor support and one-on-one coaching after major rollouts or upgrades.
• Stay current on emerging legal technology and AI tools to keep curriculum relevant.
• Assist with new hire technology onboarding.
