Highly skilled and knowledgeable Administrative Staff assist our attorneys in successfully meeting and exceeding client needs and are vital to the overall success of the Firm.Job DescriptionThe Technology Trainer designs and delivers technology training for attorneys and legal staff, supporting firmwide software rollouts and building learning materials that help end users work efficiently with the firm's technology platforms.Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential functions:Design, develop, and deliver technology training programs for attorneys and legal support staff, including instructor-led (in-person/virtual) and self-paced e-learning contentSupport firmwide rollouts of new legal technology platforms (e.g., document management, e-billing, Copilot/AI tools, practice management systems)Create job aids, quick reference guides, videos, and other learning materialsPartner with IS (Information Systems), Knowledge Management, and practice groups to identify training needs and close skill gapsTrack training attendance, completion, and effectiveness; report metrics to leadershipProvide floor support and one-on-one coaching following major rollouts or upgradesStay current on emerging legal technology and AI tools to keep curriculum relevantAssist with new hire technology onboardingAny additional responsibilities as required by managementKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:3+ years in technology training, preferably in a law firm or professional services environmentStrong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot), Claude, Chat GPT and common legal applications (iManage, Intapp, Litera, etc.)Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skillsStrong instructional design skills ADDIE ( Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) or similar frameworkAbility to translate technical concepts for non-technical, time-constrained attorney audiencesProficient with e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms, - Camtasia etc…Strong written communication skills for job aids and documentationAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects/rollouts under deadline pressureEducation/Certifications:Bachelor’s degree preferredEstimated salary range is $105,000 - $120,000. This position is bonus eligible. Compensation decisions within the range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP offers a competitive compensation package comprised of base pay and discretionary year-end bonus for eligible employees.
