Job summary

Hunter Hamilton is seeking an experienced Technology Trainer to join a premier St. Louis law firm. The role focuses on developing, delivering, and maintaining training for attorneys, paralegals, and staff on firm applications and Microsoft Office.

The ideal candidate has law-firm experience, strong Word/Excel expertise, and the ability to design practical learning resources, videos, and guides while supporting adoption and change across multiple practice groups.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology training within a law firm environment.
• Strong proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint used in legal workflows.
• Ability to develop training materials for attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Experience providing end-user support and troubleshooting in a legal setting.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for diverse skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver technology training programs for attorneys and staff.
• Conduct instructor-led, virtual, and group training on firm applications and Microsoft Office.
• Lead onboarding for newly hired attorneys and staff with proper system proficiency.
• Create and maintain training materials, user guides, and quick-reference documents.
• Provide advanced Microsoft Word training for complex legal documents.
• Train on legal-specific software such as document management and billing platforms.
• Evaluate training needs and tailor instruction to workflows and skill levels.
• Partner with IT leadership on software implementations and upgrades.
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshoot issues with end users.
• Communicate software updates and best practices to improve adoption.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging legal tech and instructional platforms.
• Track participation and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Participate in rotating on-call technical support on weekends and holidays.
