Job summary

Gibson Dunn in New York is seeking an IS Trainer to deliver training for attorneys and staff, respond to requests, analyze needs, and drive software adoption. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Technology Training & Change Management.

Responsibilities include scheduling and delivering new hire training, supporting firm-wide software rollouts, preparing training materials, and coordinating training logistics for in-person and virtual sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical training; legal industry experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years delivering technical training in corporate environments, preferably in the legal industry.
• Solid knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, iManage, Teams, and Acrobat.
• Experience with iOS/macOS devices and legal applications such as Litera Compare/Create.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences across varying skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and deliver new hire training for attorneys and staff in assigned offices.
• Participate in firm-wide projects including software testing and training program development.
• Create and distribute training materials and QuickCards.
• Coordinate conference room and virtual classroom setup.
• Collaborate with Global Services for smooth software rollouts.
• Provide ongoing training and Just-in-Time sessions as needed.
• Maintain relationships with office Directors to identify and address training needs.
• Act as an active member of the local office to deliver high-level training and support.
