Job summary

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York seeks an experienced IT Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate technology enablement programs for attorneys and staff. You’ll assess learning needs, create role-based paths, and translate complex concepts into practical training using in-person and virtual formats, apps, and major initiatives.

Collaborate with IT leadership, Application Services, Service Desk, and Business Analysts to align learning with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology enablement, learning and development, instructional delivery, or a similar role at a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Strong technical knowledge of iManage (DMS), PDF software (Kofax/Adobe), Intapp Time, ServiceNow, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training sessions in-person and remotely for attorneys and staff.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to align programs with business needs and timelines.
• Develop and update training materials, videos, and learning resources; create How-To content.
