Job summary

Fastly, Inc. is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to optimize systems, processes, and relationships across Legal, Finance, IT, and Security. A strong emphasis on integrating AI within legal workflows is required.

You’ll administer Ironclad, manage e-billing with Unity, oversee budgets, and develop data-driven reporting to support leadership. This is a high-impact role reporting to the Director of Legal Operations in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in legal operations, business/program operations, or a related function.
• Hands-on experience administering Ironclad (CLM), SimpleLegal/Unity, and eDiscovery platforms.
• Significant experience using generative AI tools (e.g., Claude and Gemini).
• Experience building and managing knowledge management systems and playbooks/templates.
• Experience managing legal spend and supporting budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central program management partner across Legal department initiatives, managing project plans, timelines, workstreams, dependencies, prioritization, and delivery.
• Lead discovery to translate business needs into actionable programs and solutions.
• Develop change-management strategies for new processes, technologies, and AI capabilities, driving adoption.
• Partner with IT, Security, and Privacy to ensure governance and oversight of AI tools.
• Build AI-enabled workflows that increase leverage of the Legal team.
