Job summary

Cboe Global Markets, Inc. is seeking a Legal intern to assist the U.S. Legal team with day-to-day activities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

You will work across multiple regulatory domains, supporting attorneys on filings, research, and governance matters. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a JD program with at least one year of law school remaining, proficient in Microsoft Office, and possessing strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a JD program and have at least one year of law school remaining; should not graduate before December of the internship year.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized and detail oriented.
• Demonstrated analytical and research skills; possess sound professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide support to Cboe attorneys with daily responsibilities including regulatory matters for securities, options, and futures; contract drafting, licensing, and corporate governance.
• Assist in preparing and submitting documents to regulators such as the SEC and CFTC.
• Conduct legal research on equities, options, futures, digital assets, foreign exchange regulation, market structure, and related issues.
