Job summary

Cboe Global Markets, Inc. is seeking a Senior Counsel to support the Legal Department across U.S. Equities, Market Data and Access, and ETP Listings.

You will draft rules, liaise with regulators, and provide compliant guidance on securities trading matters. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams and a proactive, self-starter attitude. You will participate in a highly regulated environment, stay current with regulatory changes, and help modernize core processes with new tools while

Qualifications

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills and experience drafting regulatory filings.
• Working knowledge of equities market structure terminology and on-exchange trading.
• Understanding of market data, access solutions, and ETPs and related legal frameworks.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and with senior attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Review and draft rules and rule filings to regulators explaining purposes and bases.
• Steer rule changes through internal and external review and approval processes.
• Partner with business teams to provide legal counsel and innovative thinking.
• Stay apprised of new regulations and advise applicable businesses accordingly.
• Provide legal support for compliance with national securities exchange requirements.
• Support regulatory requests, exams, inspections, and related matters for US equities.
• Support other functions across the company (Compliance, Regulatory, Technology, Operations, Risk, Finance).
• Promote a culture of compliance and responsible use of emerging tools.
• Help drive AI adoption, automation, and improved workflows in Legal.
• Develop team capabilities and adoption of new tools and processes.
