Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a Legal Engineer – Transactions embedded with the Transactions practice to optimize work through AI, automation, and better workflows. This role collaborates with attorneys, AI Labs, and Practice Intelligence to translate needs into scalable tech solutions.

The position focuses on tool adoption, training, and client-facing value delivery, with increasing autonomy in a growing department. Expect evolving scope and cross-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in a law firm, legal department, or legal services environment.
• Experience in corporate/transactional practice support or deal operations.
• Experience supporting generative AI tools in a professional setting.

Responsabilités

• Embed with the Transactions practice group to identify automation opportunities.
• Serve as liaison between the practice group and AI Labs; validate requirements.
• Deliver training and run adoption campaigns for practice tools.
• Support client-facing engagements by showcasing firm technology capabilities.
• Contribute to research and documentation to support practice workflows.
• Configure and maintain practice workflows and automations (Power Automate, SharePoint).
• Track adoption and usage metrics and feed back into priorities.
