Embedded with the practice group, the role identifies opportunities to improve legal work through better tools, translates needs into requirements, and drives attorney adoption.

Qualifications

• Translate the needs of legal professionals into clear, actionable technology requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills, with credibility among attorneys across multiple offices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite; familiarity with Power Automate and ServiceNow.
• Working knowledge of legal research platforms and generative AI tools; understand responsible use and citation integrity.
• Familiarity with transactional workflows, deal lifecycle, and document automation concepts.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across offices/time zones and work independently in a new department.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.

Responsibilities

• Embed with the Transactions practice group across offices and build working relationships with partners, associates, and staff.
• Identify automation opportunities by observing deal workflows and anticipate surge support needs during active transactions.
• Serve as primary liaison between Transactions and AI Labs; finalize specifications with the Practice Systems Analyst.
• Deliver training on approved practice-specific applications; run adoption campaigns and create self-service resources.
• Support client relationships by demonstrating firm technology capability in conversations and demonstrations.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research to support transactional matters when needed and assist the research function as assigned.
