Salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of legal billing experience, proficiency with billing software and Excel, and a background at a mid-sized law firm.

• Not considering recent graduates at this time.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle billing for assigned attorneys, incl. proforma editing and complex bills.
• Oversee end-to-end e-billing, client/matter setup and dispute resolution.
• Be the primary billing contact among attorneys, paralegals and clients.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and client guidelines.
• Prepare billing reports, accruals, budgets and analyses.

Key Duties

• Manage full-cycle billing for assigned attorneys, including proforma creation/editing and processing complex bills (split-party billing, multiple discounts, e-billing)
• Handle the e-billing process end-to-end, including client/matter setup and resolving disputes or rejections
• Serve as the main point of contact for billing questions among attorneys, paralegals, and clients
• Ensure billing complies with firm policies and client-specific guidelines
• Prepare reports, accruals, budgets, and billing analyses
