Job summary

Hennessy & Roach, P.C. is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage daily deposits, upload attorney invoices on ebilling platforms, and apply payments to cases. The role also covers collections and maintaining accurate, timely invoicing for multiple clients.

Familiarity with ebilling software (TyMetrix, LegalX, Perfect Law) and MS Office is required; prior law-firm billing experience is preferred. Confidentiality and multitasking in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; accounting degree preferred.
• Experience with ebilling platforms (TyMetrix, LegalX) is required.
• 1–2+ years of ebilling and AR in a law firm.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal billing software.

Responsibilities

• Submit invoices through various ebilling platforms.
• Perform daily deposits and apply payments to cases.
• Process refunds and maintain prepaid and WIP records.
• Maintain client and attorney contact regarding invoice status.
• Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with firm guidelines.
• Generate AR reports and assist with collections.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
