The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of leave laws, excellent customer service, and experience with Lawson and Kronos. HIPAA compliance and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in HR or 4 years HR experience; strong customer service background.
• Advanced knowledge of federal and state laws (FMLA/ADA) and local ordinances.
• Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems (Lawson, Kronos).
• Ability to educate employees and leaders on leave processes and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage leave of absence cases from intake to return-to-work.
• Educate employees and managers on leave policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with payroll, benefits, labor relations, and legal on leave administration.
• Maintain accurate case files and timely communications with employees and leaders.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect confidential health information.
