Job summary

Rooms To Go is seeking a Leave Administrator to manage the company's leave of absence programs, including FMLA, medical and disability leaves, workers' comp, ADA, military leave, and state/local leaves for a multistate workforce.

In this on-site role in Florida, you will review requests, determine eligibility, maintain records, liaise with HR and managers, ensure compliance, and generate routine leave reports while protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• 3+ years directly administering leaves of absence with eligibility review and communication.
• 2+ years supporting a multistate workforce preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with AbsenceSoft preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with empathy and consistency.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reviews leave requests and determines eligibility within established timeframes.
• Provides associates with required forms, notices, and instructions.
• Approves or denies routine leave requests per guidelines.
• Maintains communication on documentation, deadlines, and return-to-work dates.
• Protects confidential medical information while communicating with HR and managers.
• Monitors leave usage, entitlement, and certification periods.
• Maintains accurate case records in the leave management system.
• Enters and updates leave information in HR/timekeeping systems.
• Coordinates with Occupational Health on return-to-work documentation.
• Escalates complex or unresolved matters to management.
• Assists with routine leave reports and identifies discrepancies.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable leave requirements and seeks process improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
