AbsencePlus is hiring a Leave of Absence Specialist to administer employee leave requests from initiation to closure for multiple client organizations. You will evaluate eligibility, review documentation, coordinate approvals, and ensure policy compliance.

The role requires handling diverse leaves including FMLA, ADA accommodations, STD, PFML, PWFA, USERRA, and more, while maintaining accurate records and providing high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in leave administration, disability management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, and leave administration practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate leave eligibility and protections under federal, state, and employer policies.
• Review medical certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Calculate entitlement, frequency, duration, and balances.
• Coordinate with employees, clients, providers, and internal partners to deliver service.
• Process claims determinations within required standards.
• Maintain detailed claim documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
