Job summary

Valiant Residential in Venice, FL is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, retention, and occupancy for the community with a strong customer service focus.

You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, process applications, and coordinate with the Community Manager. Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interaction with residents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (questions, guest cards, etc.)
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and maintain guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and market-ready units and relay service needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications, collect deposits, and ensure Fair Housing compliance.
• Update availability reports and process applications for approval.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to Assistant Community Manager.
• Type leases and input information in Yardi; review before signatures.
• Assist management with additional tasks and enforce community policies.
