Job summary

Broad Management Group LLC is seeking a Property Leasing Agent to lead leasing for a multi-family LIHTC property. You will attract prospective tenants, coordinate property tours, and guide applicants through the leasing process to maintain high occupancy and positive tenant relationships.

You will respond to inquiries, conduct screenings, and work with management on lease terms while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and local laws. In-person work with a flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in sales, customer service, or real estate is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for showings.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and local rental laws.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for potential tenants through online listings, referrals, and networking.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and schedule property tours.
• Conduct property viewings highlighting features and amenities.
• Assist applicants with rental applications and required documentation.
• Conduct thorough tenant screenings (background, credit, rental history).
• Collaborate with owners/managers to negotiate lease terms and agreements.
• Ensure lease compliance with policies, Fair Housing, and local laws.
• Coordinate move-in processes and lease signings; conduct inspections.
• Address tenant concerns with excellent customer service throughout leasing.
• Maintain accurate leasing records (interactions, showings, leases).
• Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and rental demand.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to support leasing campaigns.
