Job summary

WOODBERRY WOODS is seeking a Property Leasing Agent to lease at a multi-family LIHTC property. You will attract prospective tenants, conduct viewings, and guide applicants through the leasing process to maintain high occupancy and tenant satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed for property viewings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Sales, customer service, or real estate experience advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and local rental laws.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for property viewings.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for potential tenants through online listings, referrals, and networking.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and schedule property tours.
• Conduct property viewings and highlight key features and amenities.
• Assist applicants with the rental process and documentation.
• Screen applicants with background checks, credit checks, and rental history verification.
• Collaborate with property owners and managers to negotiate lease terms.
• Ensure lease agreements comply with leasing policies and Fair Housing laws.
• Coordinate move-in processes and lease signings.
• Address tenant concerns and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain leasing records of tenant interactions and showings.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor pricing, and demand.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop leasing campaigns.
