Job summary

Gorman & Company is seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist in the Madison area to support three market-rate properties: Quisling Terrace, Prentice Park, and The Brittany (Midleton). You will lease, tour, and deliver a personalized resident experience across a portfolio of communities.

You’ll build relationships with prospects, residents, vendors, and teammates, follow up on leads, assist with move-ins/move-outs, and handle administrative tasks while staying organized and compliant with Fair

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service mindset with ability to connect with diverse people.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments in alignment with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Conduct community tours and provide a personalized experience to prospective residents.
• Build relationships with prospects, residents, vendors, and team members.
• Follow up with prospects and convert leads to signed leases.
• Support outreach marketing, community networking, and competitor research.
• Assist with move-in and move-out processes for a smooth resident experience.
• Complete administrative tasks including answering calls, entering service requests, and maintaining records.
• Support compliance processes and coordinate with internal teams as needed.

We're currently hiring a full-time Leasing Specialist to support three of our market-rate properties in the Madison area: Quisling Terrace (60-units) in Madison, Prentice Park (162-units) in Madison, and The Brittany (144-units) in Middleton. This role offers the opportunity to work across a portfolio of communities, helping prospective residents find the right home while providing exceptional service to current and future residents!

What You'll Do

• Lease apartments in alignment with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Conduct community tours and deliver a compelling, personalized experience to prospective residents.
• Build relationships with prospects, residents, vendors, and team members.
• Follow up with prospects and assist in converting leads to signed leases.
• Support outreach marketing efforts, community networking, and competitor research.
• Assist with move-in and move-out processes to ensure a smooth resident experience.
• Complete administrative tasks including answering calls, entering service requests, and maintaining records.
• Support compliance processes and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
