Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Community Assistant for its Mesquite, TX LIHTC community The Fielder. Under the Community Manager, you’ll handle daily operations, assist with leasing, and support resident services to maintain a quality living environment.

You’ll maximize cash flow, assist with certifications, and ensure timely rent collection while maintaining resident files and payroll reporting. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• LIHTC accreditation or related LIHTC designations preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of property management and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maximize cash flow by revenue optimization and delinquency control.
• Monitor leasing activities, renewals, and occupancy targets.
• Maintain accurate resident files and payroll reporting.
• Support leasing team with inquiries, showings, and paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and tax regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle emergencies/weekends.
