Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Leasing Associate to handle leasing, marketing and resident relations at an on-site property in San Diego. You will sign leases, show apartments and guide applicants through the process, with an emphasis on customer service and compliance with Fair Housing rules.

The role requires coordinating tours, processing applications and coordinating with the property team to maintain an active leasing pipeline. Weekly onsite work with the potential for weekend shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone and internet inquiries from residents and prospects to schedule tours
• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software
• Assist prospects with applications and deposits, adhering to company procedures and Fair Housing requirements
• Keep an updated availability report, process applications with credit checks and rental history verification
• Submit applications for processing and obtain Community Manager approval
• Show apartments and close sale, prepare move-ins, obtain signatures and provide community orientation
• Maintain an active social media presence for the property to enhance visibility and engagement
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints and requests promptly
• Close sales by arranging appointments, generating leads, conducting tours and follow-ups
• Use marketing strategies to drive traffic within budget and the marketing plan
• Present a favorable image of the community to achieve objectives
• Plan resident events to boost retention and host after-hours activities as needed
• Complete lease, move-in, and checkout paperwork in a timely manner
• Attend weekly and daily goal-setting meetings
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely service responses
