Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Woodland Park for leasing, marketing and resident relations within the community. The role requires professional engagement with residents and staff, strong communication and a collaborative approach to ensure successful outcomes.

The position emphasizes customer service excellence, prospect qualification, and accurate lease administration using Yardi Voyager; bilingual English/Spanish is highly desired and there is potential for flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide A+ customer service at all times.
• Greet and qualify all prospects.
• Record all telephone and in-person visits on guest cards.
• Demonstrate community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to prospect needs; close the sale.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit in accordance with procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the agreed date.
• Follow up on prospects that did not close and refer to sister communities if needed.
• Secure new resident signatures and orient new residents.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and follow up on renewal notices.
