Job summary

Greystar seeks a Leasing Specialist in California to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a 126-unit community. Weekend availability is required; Tue–Sat, 9am–6pm. 1–2 years of leasing experience with customer service and sales background preferred.

Housing discount of 20% is available. Responsibilities include tours, applications, screenings, leases, move-ins, renewals, and keeping show units and marketing spaces in top condition.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Leasing experience (Prior customer service and sales experience).
• Must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours and show apartments, process applications, perform credit and background checks, prepare lease and move-in packages, and ensure smooth lease signing.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and ensure they are move-in ready, coordinating with maintenance for any items.
• Stay informed about market conditions and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy and revenue.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals, employer outreach, and internet marketing.
• Use on-site PM software to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards and prepare the leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to confirm lease renewals and satisfaction.
• Execute lease renewals and communicate with renewing residents ahead of move-out dates.
