Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Associate in Mountain View, CA to drive leasing activity, show apartments, process applications, and secure renewals. You will coordinate with maintenance for move-in readiness, monitor market conditions, and implement local marketing plans to sustain occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Performs sales and leasing to achieve occupancy and revenue goals; greets prospects, tours, processes applications, conducts credit and background checks, prepares lease packages, and facilitates move-in.
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and ensures units are ready; coordinates with maintenance for any outstanding items.
• Monitors market conditions and implements marketing plans to sustain occupancy; follows policies for concessions and programs.
• Designs marketing activities to drive traffic; uses internet tools and referral programs to boost occupancy.
• Uses on-site software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Ensures show units meet company quality standards; coordinates showings and leasing office readiness.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and to finalize renewals or leases.
• Supports lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and managing timelines with renewing residents.
• Responds promptly to resident or owner inquiries and documents requests for appropriate teams.
