Job summary

Greystar's Avana on Broad in Durham, NC is seeking a Leasing Professional to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals while delivering resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, screen credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and support renewal activities while upholding company standards and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Perform leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy goals, including tours, applications, credit and background checks, and lease signings.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and coordinate any repairs with maintenance.
• Monitor market conditions, develop short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals and employer outreach, and use online tools.
• Use on-site software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards by inspecting marketing corridors and coordinating upkeep.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to secure lease renewals and satisfaction.
• Support lease renewal processes by preparing renewal letters and packages.
• Respond promptly to resident/owner questions and document requests.
