Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a 122-unit community in Santa Monica. You will handle tours, applications, and move-ins, while maintaining show units and ensuring resident satisfaction.

The role requires 1-2 years of leasing experience and a background in sales. Expect a dynamic schedule, strong customer service, and opportunities for growth within a large real estate platform.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of leasing experience preferred.
• Prior sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and complete move-in packages.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and ensure units are ready, coordinating with maintenance for any issues.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follow company policies on concessions and programs.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals and employer outreach, and use online tools to reach prospects.
• Use on-site software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record activities, manage data, and capture resident information.
• Ensure show units meet company standards by inspecting marketing corridors, coordinating with maintenance, and preparing leasing offices.
• Conduct follow-ups with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease decisions.
• Support lease renewal programs with letters, packages, and proactive contact before move-out dates.
• Respond promptly to resident and client concerns and document requests with relevant teams.
