Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Resident Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service to residents, guests, and the onsite team. You will show andLease apartments, assist with move-ins, and provide administrative support to the Community Manager.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, experience in property/retail/customer service, and proficiency with MS Office; Yardi is a plus. The role requires five days per week in the office at the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in Property/Hotel/Retail preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer or return all calls promptly with high level of customer service.
• Schedule appointments and conduct in-person visits.
• Listen to resident requests and refer as appropriate.
• Develop relationships with residents to understand needs.
• Initiate Maintenance Service Requests and follow up.
• Greet prospective tenants and show the property and features.
• Process applications for approval and follow up with applicants.
• Pre-qualify prospects per housing requirements.
• Conduct service inspections with Service Management team.
• Coordinate community engagement activities with residents.
• Prepare recertification and lease renewals; data entry into tracking system.
