Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. seeks a Resident Specialist to deliver superior customer service at the property site, show and lease apartments, and support maintenance and administration. The role requires five days in the office and involves pre-qualifying prospects, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins.

Strong customer service, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential, with LIHTC/Section 8 experience preferred and knowledge of Yardi a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in Property/Hotel/Retail or Sales preferred.
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Industry software such as Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to residents, guests and team members.
• Show and lease apartments; assist in moving and provide admin support.
• Process applications for approval and pre-qualify prospects.
• Maintain move-in condition checks and coordinate maintenance requests.
• Greet and engage residents; conduct community events as directed.
