Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Resident Specialist to provide exceptional service to residents and staff at the property site. You will show apartments, process applications, and support maintenance and community operations. Five days per week in the office is required.

Responsibilities include scheduling visits, handling inquiries, maintaining move-in conditions, and coordinating community engagement with the Community Manager. Prior LIHTC/Section 8 familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in Property/Hotel/Retail or Sales is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is expected.
• Experience with Yardi software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to residents, guests and team members.
• Show and lease apartments, and conduct in-person visits.
• Process applications and pre-qualify prospects per housing requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up on service completion.
• Maintain records, prepare recertifications and lease renewals.
• Support clerical tasks and assist the Community Manager as needed.
