Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Resident Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service to residents, guests and team members at the property site. You will show and lease apartments, assist with moving, and support the Community and Services Maintenance Manager with a variety of property tasks.

Five days a week in office is required. Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling visits, processing applications, maintaining records, and coordinating with the maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in property/hospitality or retail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Yardi software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly with high level of customer service.
• Schedule appointments and conduct in-person visits as needed.
• Listen to resident requests and refer as appropriate.
• Develop relationships with residents to understand needs and aspirations.
• Initiate Maintenance Service Requests promptly and follow up with residents.
• Greet prospective tenants and show the property and its features according to procedures.
• Process applications for approval and follow up with applicants.
• Pre-qualify prospects in accordance with procedures and housing requirements.
• Conduct service inspections with the Service Management team for move-in condition.
• Coordinate and attend community engagement activities with residents.
• Manage rental payment process.
• Prepare recertifications and lease renewals; enter data into tracking system.
