Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction in a multifamily community. You will show and lease apartments, qualify leads, and support the Property Manager in daily operations to ensure a positive living experience and strong financial performance.

The role involves marketing activities, onboarding new residents, and coordinating with maintenance and vendors. Strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year leasing, sales, or customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; property management software experience required.
• Experience using social media (Facebook, Instagram) is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Customer-service oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, conduct property tours, and showcase apartments.
• Qualify leads, process applications, run background and credit checks.
• Ensure units are move-in ready and coordinate maintenance.
• Execute lease agreements and move-in packages.
• Design and implement marketing plans to drive traffic and occupancy.
• Promote the community on Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
• Coordinate referrals, employer outreach, and local networking.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions and rental rates.
• Support resident retention with timely responses.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with lease renewals and recordkeeping in Yardi/OneSite.
• Handle rent collection and delinquent accounts.
• Keep leasing office presentable and show-ready.
