Valiant Residential in Houston seeks a Leasing Consultant to drive leasing, retention, and occupancy while delivering exceptional customer service to visitors, prospects, and residents.

You will coordinate move-in packages, process applications, and support renewals with the Community Manager—ensuring accurate records and compliant procedures. A proactive, professional demeanor is essential in a fast-paced community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Operate telephone, computer/keyboard, and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions, use guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Update availability reports and process applications for approval.
