Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for a Single Family rental community. Based in the United States, you will manage a team, budgets, leasing, and resident relations to hit occupancy and revenue goals.

You will supervise staff, enforce leases, analyze financials, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and Greystar policies. The role requires strong leadership and customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• 4–6 years minimum of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service background.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into the development of budgets by analyzing financial statements and operating reports.
• Sets rent rates, ensures timely collection and posting of rents, and prepares monthly financial status reports.
• Approves invoices from vendors and manages communications between vendor, accounting, and owner.
• Controls expenditures within the approved budget and manages petty cash.
• Oversees lease enforcement, approves applications, conducts inspections, and handles renewals and evictions as needed.
• Gathers market data to inform short- and long-range marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and ensuring timely service.
• Conducts regular property inspections to maintain safety and curb appeal; ensures staff compliance with standards.
• Supervises staff hiring, orientation, training, and performance management.
• Assists in managing owner relationships and provides property performance updates.
• Completes various accounting, financial, and administrative reports.
