Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies at a Virginia Beach property. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, screen credit and background, prepare leases, and ensure a smooth move-in process.

You will also monitor market conditions, design marketing plans, and drive occupancy through effective leasing and resident relations.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment leasing and resident relations.
• Greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications and leases.
• Familiarity with market conditions and occupancy strategies.

Responsibilities

• Performs sales and leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy goals, welcomes prospects, conducts tours, processes applications, runs credit and background checks, prepares leases, and ensures smooth move-in and signing.
• Inspects apartments before move-in and coordinates with maintenance for any issue.
• Monitors market conditions and competitor activity to adapt marketing plans and programs to sustain occupancy.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals and employer outreach, and uses internet tools to reach prospects.
• Uses on-site property management software to track availability, traffic, leasing activities, and resident data.
• Ensures show units meet company standards through daily inspections and preparing leasing office for daily activities.
• Follows up with prospects/new residents to finalize leases and renewals.
• Supports lease renewal program with letters, packages, and advance outreach to renewing residents.
