Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies and to drive tours, applications, credit checks, and lease preparation for smooth move-ins.

You will help maintain show-ready units, monitor market conditions, implement marketing plans, and support renewal efforts while delivering exceptional resident service across this Virginia Beach community.

Qualifications

• Sales and leasing duties to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Respond to resident inquiries and provide high-quality service.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitive properties.

Responsibilities

• Performs sales and leasing activities, greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing leases.
• Inspects apartments before move-in and coordinates with maintenance for any outstanding items.
• Develops short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follows policy on concessions.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to drive traffic using online tools and referrals.
• Uses on-site software to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Ensures show units meet standards and prepares the leasing office for daily activities.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to finalize lease decisions and renewals.
• Supports lease renewal processes and communicates with renewing residents.
• Responds promptly to concerns and documents requests for appropriate action.
