Job summary

Valiant Residential in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Leasing Consultant to handle leasing, retention, and occupancy with a strong customer service focus. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, process applications, and maintain accurate records in the Yardi system.

Key requirements include experience with the public or sales, excellent verbal and written English, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Two years of experience in customer service or related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits per policies.
• Update availability reports and manage approvals in Yardi.
• Assist in renewals and send renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and market competition.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to management.
• Input lease information into Yardi and obtain signatures.
• Support management with other tasks as needed.
• Enforce community policies consistently.
