Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to assist in leasing tasks, motivate Leasing Consultants, and use market information for steady advancement toward a Property Manager role. Reports to the Property Manager and will support budgeting, move-ins, and compliance across the community.

The role requires strong computer skills, leadership, and the ability to handle multiple tasks, with flexibility to work evenings and some weekends. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in property management or real estate preferred.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary related education preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent and ensure revenue data is posted accurately.
• File evictions when applicable and follow local laws.
• Issue lease violations and coordinate with the property manager.
• Review applications and verify proof of income against qualification guidelines.
• Audit move-ins and ensure all payments and documents are complete.
• Assist with leasing and property tours when needed.
• Respond to service requests and escalate to the property manager as required.
• Support budget adherence and occupancy/ leasing goals.
