Job summary

Greystar in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Leasing Specialist to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies that drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, run credit/background checks, prepare lease and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in experience.

You will inspect units, coordinate maintenance, and implement marketing plans to maintain high occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours and show apartments, process applications, screen credit and background checks, prepare lease and move-in package.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in, ensure move-in ready condition and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follow programs to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals and employer outreach, using internet tools and websites.
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability and leasing activities and manage resident data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards by inspecting marketing corridors and coordinating maintenance.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to confirm lease decisions and renewals.
• Support lease renewal process by preparing renewal letters and packages and contacting renewing residents.
• Respond to resident concerns promptly and convey requests to appropriate team members.
