Job summary

Greystar Management Services is seeking a Leasing professional to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue at a multifamily community.

You will greet prospects, tour communities, process applications, run background checks, prepare leases, and ensure smooth move-ins. The role requires staying aware of market conditions and driving traffic with diverse marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours and show apartments, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare lease and move-in package, and ensure a smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and ensure they are ready; coordinate with maintenance for any repairs.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy; follow policies on concessions and programs to boost occupancy.
• Design marketing activities to drive traffic: referrals, employer outreach, internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic and leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards by inspecting marketing corridor, coordinating maintenance, and preparing leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to confirm lease or renewal decisions through emails, calls, or notes.
• Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters, contacting renewing residents, and ensuring timely signing of documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns and document requests to the appropriate team.
