Job summary

Greystar seeks a Leasing Consultant to coordinate the community's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies, perform tours, process applications, screen applicants, prepare leases, and ensure a smooth move-in process.

The role includes inspecting units, staying informed about market conditions, implementing marketing plans, utilizing on-site software, maintaining show quality, following up with prospects, and supporting lease renewals with timely documentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours and show apartments, process applications, credit screening, and background checks, prepare lease and move-in package, ensure smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and ensure move-in ready condition, schedule maintenance as needed.
• Stay informed about market and competitor conditions, develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals and employer outreach, and use internet marketing tools.
• Use on-site property management software to track availability, record traffic and leasing activities, and manage resident data.
• Ensure show units meet standards by inspecting the marketing corridor and coordinating maintenance and upkeep.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease or renewal decisions.
• Support lease renewal by preparing renewal letters, contacting renewing residents, and ensuring documents are signed on time.
