Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Specialist to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies at a community. You will greet prospects, tour apartments, handle applications, credit screening, and move-in packages to optimize occupancy and revenue.

Daily tasks include inspecting units, coordinating with maintenance, and executing marketing plans. Strong communication and proficiency with property software are essential across frequent renewals and guest relations.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments pre-move-in and coordinate maintenance to ensure move-in readiness.
• Develop short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and revenue.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic (Craigslist, Facebook, email) and referrals.
• Use on-site software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability and data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards; coordinate with maintenance and leasing office.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to finalize lease and renewals.
• Support lease renewal communications and processes; address resident questions.
