Job summary

Cardinal is seeking a Leasing & Marketing Team Leader in Charlotte, NC to support the Community Manager in leasing, marketing, and resident relations, aiming for 100% occupancy through retention and pre-leasing of future availability.

The role covers greeting prospects, presenting the property, processing applications, maintaining records, and resident support. Requires 1–2 years of experience, high energy, and weekend availability. Cardinal U training provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience.
• High-energy and enjoys a fast pace environment.
• Enjoy and take pride in providing excellent service.
• Excellent customer service skills warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone.
• Basic computer skills: typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective clients and qualify needs while presenting the property and apartment homes.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and handle accordingly for prospects, clients, internal teams, or vendors.
• Complete lease applications and participate in verification; notify prospects of results.
• Maintain accurate client records and update daily occupancy and activity reports.
• Maintain tour routes to ensure curb appeal and property presentation.
• Assist residents with day-to-day tasks as part of the concierge program.
• Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
