Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED (General Education Diploma) Required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer technology skills and advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license within the timeframe required by law.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing/customer service role.
• 2 years of prior leasing experience.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing guidelines, Policy / Procedures, and leasing document

Responsibilities

• Assist in marketing, administrative, and financial operations of the property under the direction of the Community Manager.
• Maintains understanding of the community, specials and floor plans and oversees all unit pricing; ensures pricing is updated on BH website.
• Assist the on-site team and Performance Analysts in marketing all units and addressing vacancies and resident retention.
• Understand market survey data and use it to generate traffic and evaluate competitors.
• Use and promote third-party online leasing programs in BH policies and procedures.
• Enter prospect information and alerts into property management software and respond in a timely manner.
• Assist with leasing duties, including touring prospective residents and preparing lease agreements; walk vacant units.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and leasing regulations.
• Provide feedback on rental rates and specials and suggest adjustments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
