Job summary

Shea Properties is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead the leasing team at an on-site apartment community. The role drives occupancy and revenue by staffing, pricing, marketing, and supervising leasing staff.

On-site duties include coordinating move-ins, maintaining leasing offices, and ensuring compliance with policies. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and incentives.

Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to give clear direction and respond to inquiries.
• Minimum of 4 years property management experience with at least 1 year at the management level.

Responsibilities

• Directs the leasing team and supervises staff’s daily activities to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Hire, train and motivate all leasing staff.
• Conducts weekly sales meetings with leasing goals and occupancy targets.
• Shadow trains new leasing employees and completes training checklists.
• Gathers market information and reports on competition rental rates and promotions.
• Reviews pricing and submits recommendations to optimize revenue.
• Ensure leasing staff document traffic and lease activity accurately.
• Assist in move-ins, renewals, and processing of lease documents.
