Job summary

Shea Properties is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in leasing operations, staff leadership, and data entry in our property management software.

You will help implement marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and budget goals, supervise leasing staff, and coordinate with maintenance on move-ins. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication; ability to direct groups.
• Understanding of accounting principles and budget process.
• Basic understanding of marketing concepts; data analysis; and report writing.
• Customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise leasing office data input and reporting.
• Oversee move-in and rent processing with Community Manager.
• Review pricing and marketing strategy to meet goals.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Coordinate with Leasing and Maintenance on move-ins and inspections.
• Manage budgets and assist in annual reviews and PDPs for staff.
