Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing, marketing, and resident relations at an on‑site property. You will collaborate with the Community Manager to set goals, lead the leasing team, and execute a strategic plan to meet occupancy targets.

The role requires timely on‑site presence, strong leasing techniques, marketing execution, and a focus on resident satisfaction. A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred or housing industry experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform all on‑site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leasing Management
• Onsite attendance is required
• Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective and leases are closed with proper follow-up
• Audit lease files for policy adherence and accuracy
• Handle resident complaints and improve resident satisfaction
• Develop and implement resident retention programs and events
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents
• Assist in developing the annual marketing plan and budget
• Implement marketing efforts and outreach to generate traffic
• Monitor leasing/renewal progress and provide needed support
• Supervise leasing/renewal events with Community Manager
• Maintain knowledge of property and market conditions with weekly market surveys

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry

Basic computer skills

Fair Housing Laws knowledge
